the last of us writers said fuck you to the idea that queer characters must earn their right to be happy and at peace by enduring every traumatic experience in the book and instead gave us what was essentially a 10k domestic bliss gay fanfic with a strawberry garden where the only real worry was the fungus zombies and i think that’s beautiful.
